Nadine Ben Messaoud

Data Science Intern, Global Institute for Disease Elimination and Tunisian Center for Public Health

Introduction

Nadine Ben Messaoud is a Data Science Intern with the Global Institute for disease Elimination(GLIDE) and The Tunisian Center for Public Health (TUnCPH). She holds a master’s degree in Public Health from University of Sunderland in London (UK). Before joining the public health field, she used to work as an Anesthesia Technician in a private clinic in Tunisia. During her studies in London she engaged in many extracurricular activities. She had the opportunity to be an active member of the “Health and Well-being society” at University of Sundeland in London as well as the vice-president and leader of its workshops. Through this experience, she shared responsibility of handling budget, searching for funds, and communicating about actions. Additionally, She was nominated to be the class representative, where she was meant to voice student’s academic views and most importantly ensure continuous communication and engagement between the University administration and students to improve the learning experience.
